take off

20 minutes to create this takeoff runway in deep snow at 5500m!

In April, with Julien Dusserre, we left Kathmandu in autonomy and bivouac flight to the village of Kyanjing Gompa in the Langtang valley. We carried all the equipment for mountainering.
From here we lived in the village for a few weeks trying to climb the Langtang Lirung (7227m) in mountaineering by a new face never climbed.
The face is not accessible on foot, nobody climbed this face it’s not for nothing! It’s necessary to use the paragliders to pass over the cascades of ice and continuous avalanches to land towards 5900m in safety.
The climbing route is not very difficult but to reach it paragliding is mandatory.
In the next few weeks, I will show you this adventure through a few images or short videos.

Shalbachum
