This summer, I had the chance to cross the US from the Mexican border to Prince George, Canada, a 3,000km bivouac flight.
Crossing Kinbasket Lake was certainly the highlight of the expedition. 250km of roadless forest inhabited by bears and grizzly bears. You have to stay high and make the right move at the right time. I was able to complete the crossing in two days.
It’s the price you pay for breathtaking scenery; it’s a truly wild world.
Cet été j’ai eu la chance de traverser les US de la frontière Mexicaine jusqu’à Prince George au Canada, 3000km de vol bivouac.
La traversée du lac Kinbasket était certainement le point d’orge de l’expédition. 250km de forêt sans route et habité par l’ours et le Grizzli. Il faut rester haut et s’engager au bon moment. J’ai pu réaliser la traversée en 2 jours.
C’est le prix à payer pour des paysages à couper le souffle, c’est un univers bien sauvage
