Training session with Benoit Outters my Xalps support and Sebastien Fiastre. Ascent to Moucherotte and flight of 170km. We ended up stuck with the thunderstorm in front.

The weather pushes us from Italy, impossible to fly until Tuesday so back home.
La météo nous à chassés d’Italie, impossible de voler avant mardi donc retour à la maison. Fin de ce repérage.
Second jour, On continue à repérer en Allemagne. Temps très couvert et encore plus de vent que la veille… 30km/h d’Ouest. On n’est pas allé bien loin ! On continue le repérage un peu plus au sud en Autriche et Italie.
Second day, we continued to fly in Germany. Weather very cloudy and more windy than yesterday … 30km/h West. We did not go very far! We continue us trip to the south in Austria and Italy.
We had past us first day in germany on turn point B4 of the Xalps, good fly but windy.Tomorrow we hope a better conditions.
Découverte de la B4 en Allemagne. Beaucoup de vent mais un vol plutôt classe mais trop venté. On espére mieux demain.
Small fly today and tomorrow let’s go for next Xalps check paragliding location. On the program, Italy, Germany and Austria, We will not be bored with Pascal!
Petit vol de mise au point aujourd’hui et demain c’est le départ pour 4 jours de repérage. Au programme, l’Italie, L’Allemagne et l’Autriche, on ne va pas chaumer avec Pascal !

With the bad weather in east Alps we did not go too far ! The TP9 Annecy / Planfait and the beginning of the road to Monaco was revisited. Ideal conditions for check, a air mass very stable and a low top out altitude, typical of July. 3 day with beautiful fly.
Difficult flew and very slow (more than 6 hours the first day) but we arrived to progress in this conditions, average of 11km/h…
Premier repérage pour la Xalps avec Pascal, mon coéquipier officiel.
Au vu de la météo on n’est pas allé trop loin, on a revisité le TP9 d’Annecy/Planfait ainsi que le début de la route pour Monaco. Conditions idéales pour un repérage, une masse d’air très stable et une altitude de plafond très basse, typique du mois de juillet.
Vol difficile et très lent (6h30) mais on arrive quand même à avancer dans ces conditions, moyenne de 11km/h…
